Ayla Bawadi was constructed on 2014 and was part of the prestigious Bawadi Mall catering for the majority members of the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) Countries. The Hotel interiors are a contemporary rendition of the more traditional, classic Arabic Souk or market, found in and around the Middle East. This successful project ensured that Design Union was shortlisted in The Middle East & North Africa Interior Design & Architecture awards in 2015 for The Best Hospitality Project.
